Interactive on every level
Veclaicene interactive platform is a combination of a website and native Android and iOS apps that let tourists view the nearby tourist locations and sights in Veclaicene city.
The apps feature integrated online payments using Swedbank Payment Portal to allow visitors to book and pay for staying at the local hotels. When a person pays for a hotel, they automatically receive a secret code that they can enter in the passcode door lock upon arrival. The secret code they receive automatically stops working when they do self-checkout.
The platform is also available on interactive touchscreen displays at tourist centers in Alūksne, which were placed there as part of the project, where you can view the locations, tourist routes and even book hotels.
